I got a new book today that I'm excited to start!
Anyone read it before? I'm looking forward to the movie with Julia Roberts that's coming out soon, and it really got me interested in reading the book, especially when I found out it's a true story! I hope it's good!
Besides the Twilight books, (which I read constantly over and over again), here are some other books I've read lately that I would really recommend:
This book is sooooo good! It's about two people who grew up together, finding one another again after years apart. I know it sounds completely generic, but it's not at all! I was hesitant to read it at first, but I'm so glad that I did. It's definitely a book you should go pick up! I think it's actually one of my favorite books I've read.
I actually bought this book on accident, but I'm glad I did! I was disappointed at first when I got home and realized that I had the title wrong and it wasn't the book I was expecting. But, I kept reading and was instantly drawn in. It's fabulous, and I can't wait to read the sequel.
What great books have you been reading?
I loved Eat, Pray, Love! Eat was my favorite section, but the others were good too! I just like her writing style a lot... hopefully you'll love it too.
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting on my MIL to finish reading Eat,Love,Pray I heard it's very good.
ReplyDeleteHeard about the last one, but not been reading it..
I need to start reading again, but with 2 small kids it's hard to find the energy and time!!
Let us know what you think about them!!
I love Julia Roberts. I can't wait to see the movie.
ReplyDeleteHave a good Sunday!
LOVE!
Eat, Pray, Love looks so good, you'll have to let us know how it is!
ReplyDeleteyou'll not want Eat Pray Love to end. Such an impacting story. I couldn't read the Pray without choking up every few minutes!! Enjoy
ReplyDeleteI haven't read EAT, PRAY... yet. I always heard mixed reviews and wasn't sure I'd love it, but with all the movie hype I am thinking about giving it a go.
ReplyDeleteThe plot of APRIL & OLIVER reminds me of you and your friend who grew apart! (I haven't read it; just had that reaction when I read what you wrote about it.
I just bought THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATOO... on purpose!! I haven't started it yet, though. I can't help but wonder what you meant to buy when you eneded up with it. :)
I've been reading Margaret Atwood's THE BLIND ASSASSIN. It's intense. I also read a couple of "lighter" books while on vacation. Are you on Goodreads? It's the coolest website for tracking your reading!
