Has anyone ever watched the show "Being Erica?"   It's on the SoapNet channel.... which I usually only watch for the "OC" and "One Tree Hill" re-runs.    I watched an episode one day out of curiosity and I must say, it's now one of my favorite shows.   You should check it out!  

Tonight's episode really got me thinking about the choices we make.   Have you ever been really excited about something, only to be talked out of it by the first person you tell your idea to?   I know I have.   Sometimes I think people in our lives mean well, but they give advice based on what is true for them, not necessarily for the person their giving advice to.   I'm sure I've been guilty of the same thing when giving advice. 

Sometimes we can be dream stealers and not even realize it.

When someone tells you their dream, don't take it from them.   Even if you think it's impossible.  Even if it's something you would never do, even if it's crazy!   Let them dream, and let them dream big.

Some people say "don't get your hopes up."  

But really, what good are low hopes?

"The world steps aside for someone who knows where they are going."  

I know I have a bad habit of always asking others for advice.   Which, is not always a bad thing, but sometimes I forget to listen to myself.
What do I think?  What do I choose?
